Introduction
These terms and conditions govern all photography services provided by Langkawi Photographers in India. By booking any photography session you agree to be bound by these terms completely. Our services include high-quality travel, portrait, event, family and couple photography. All bookings become legally confirmed only after receipt of the advance deposit amount. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any service if these terms are breached. These terms may be updated from time to time with notice published on our website. It is your responsibility to check the latest version before confirming a booking. This agreement is governed exclusively by the laws of India.
Booking & Payment Policy
A 50% non-refundable advance deposit is required to confirm and reserve your shooting slot. The remaining 50% balance must be cleared in full at least 7 days before the session. We accept payments through UPI, bank transfer, Google Pay, PhonePe or cash (prior approval). Any extra hours, locations or services requested on the day will be charged additionally. All prices are quoted and payable only in Indian Rupees (₹) inclusive of applicable taxes. Delayed or incomplete payments may lead to automatic cancellation without deposit refund. GST-compliant invoice will be issued for all payments as per Indian tax laws. Booking confirmation is subject to availability and our final acceptance.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
Cancellations made more than 14 days before the session date receive no refund of deposit. Cancellations between 7–14 days prior forfeit the entire advance deposit amount. Cancellations within 7 days or failure to appear forfeit the full agreed session fee. One free rescheduling is permitted if requested at least 10 days in advance. Rescheduling within 7 days may attract a 30% fee of the total package value. We are not responsible for weather-related cancellations but will attempt one reschedule. Force majeure events (floods, strikes, government orders, pandemics) are handled case-by-case. Multiple rescheduling requests may result in cancellation at our discretion.
Shooting & Delivery Terms
We deliver only professionally edited high-resolution digital images in JPEG format. The exact number of final edited photos depends on the chosen photography package. Your private online gallery link will be shared within 14–21 working days post-shoot. Unedited RAW files are not provided unless separately agreed and paid extra. All photographs remain our intellectual property until full and final payment is received. Clients are granted personal non-commercial usage rights upon complete payment. Any commercial use, reproduction or resale requires a separate written license. Final editing style is at the sole artistic discretion of the photographer.
Client Responsibilities & Conduct
Clients must arrive punctually and comply with all safety instructions provided. Any delay caused by the client may reduce actual shooting time without refund. Full respect for local culture, environment, private property and people is compulsory. Use of drones is prohibited unless prior written permission and legal permits are secured. Clients are fully responsible for obtaining any required location or property permissions. Aggressive, abusive, unsafe or disrespectful conduct may lead to immediate session termination. Clients must disclose any medical conditions or special needs well in advance. Minors must always be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult.
Liability & Force Majeure
We are not liable for any loss, damage, injury or accident during the photography session. Clients participate in outdoor, adventure or beach shoots entirely at their own risk. We maintain professional liability insurance but it does not cover client personal items. We are not responsible for events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure). Force majeure includes natural calamities, strikes, pandemics or government restrictions. In such cases we will offer rescheduling or partial refund at our sole discretion. We are not liable for missed photographs due to sudden uncontrollable weather changes. Clients are strongly advised to maintain their own personal and travel insurance.
