Introduction

These terms and conditions govern all photography services provided by Langkawi Photographer in India. By booking any session you agree to be bound by these terms fully and unconditionally. Our services include high-quality travel, portrait, event, family and couple photography sessions. All bookings are legally confirmed only after receipt of the advance deposit payment. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any service if these terms are not followed. These terms may be updated from time to time with notice posted on our official website. It is your responsibility to review the latest version before confirming any booking. This agreement is governed exclusively by the laws of India.

Booking & Payment Policy

A 50% non-refundable advance deposit is required to confirm and block your shooting date. The remaining 50% balance must be paid in full at least 7 days before the session date. We accept payments via UPI, bank transfer, Google Pay, PhonePe or cash (by prior agreement). Any additional hours, locations or services requested on the day will be charged extra. All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (₹) and inclusive of applicable taxes where mentioned. Late or partial payments may result in automatic cancellation without refund of deposit. GST invoice will be provided for all payments as per Indian tax regulations. Booking is subject to availability and acceptance at our sole discretion.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

Cancellations made more than 14 days before the session date receive no refund of deposit. Cancellations between 7–14 days prior forfeit 100% of the advance deposit paid. Cancellations within 7 days or no-shows result in forfeiture of the full session amount. One free rescheduling is allowed if requested at least 10 days in advance. Rescheduling within 7 days may attract a 30% rescheduling fee of the total package value. We are not liable for cancellations due to weather, but will offer one rescheduling attempt. Force majeure events (natural calamities, strikes, government restrictions) are handled case-by-case. Repeated rescheduling requests may lead to cancellation at our discretion.

Shooting & Delivery Terms

We deliver only professionally edited high-resolution digital photographs (JPEG format). The exact number of final edited images depends on the package you have selected. Your private online gallery link will be shared within 14–21 working days after the shoot. Unedited raw files are not provided unless separately agreed and paid for in advance. All photographs remain our intellectual property until full payment is received. Clients are granted personal non-commercial usage rights upon full payment. Commercial usage, reproduction or resale requires a separate written license agreement. Editing style remains at the photographer’s creative discretion as per industry practice.

Client Responsibilities & Conduct

Clients must arrive at the agreed time and follow all safety instructions given by the photographer. Any client-caused delay may reduce actual shooting time without any refund or compensation. Full respect for local culture, environment, private property and people is mandatory. Use of drones is strictly prohibited unless prior written permission and permits are obtained. Clients are solely responsible for securing any required location or property permissions. Aggressive, abusive, unsafe or disrespectful behavior may result in immediate session termination. Clients must inform us in advance of any medical conditions or special assistance needs. Minors must always be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult guardian.

Liability & Force Majeure

We are not liable for any loss, damage, injury or accident during the photography session. Clients participate in outdoor/adventure/beach shoots entirely at their own risk. We maintain professional liability insurance but it does not cover client personal belongings. We are not responsible for events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure). Force majeure includes floods, cyclones, earthquakes, strikes, pandemics or government orders. In such cases we will offer rescheduling or partial refund at our sole discretion. We are not liable for any missed photographs due to sudden uncontrollable weather changes. Clients are strongly advised to have their own personal travel and health insurance coverage.
