This Anti-Spam Policy explains how Langkawi Photographer handles email and SMS communication in full compliance with Indian laws and regulations. We strictly follow the Information Technology Act, 2000 and Telecom Commercial Communications Customer Preference Regulations 2018 (TCCCPR). All messages we send are purely transactional and related to photography services. We never send unsolicited commercial communications or promotional bulk messages. This policy applies to every client who contacts us or books a session with us. We take every spam-related concern seriously and respond within 72 hours.
How We Obtain Contact Details
We collect mobile numbers and email addresses only when you voluntarily provide them. This happens during inquiry, WhatsApp conversation or booking confirmation only. We never purchase, scrape, harvest or obtain contact lists from third parties. Contact details are collected solely for delivering photography-related services. We do not automatically add anyone to any promotional or marketing list. If you contact us via social media we request your number/email only if essential. All collection is transparent, purpose-specific and client-initiated. We never use hidden forms, deceptive tactics or automatic collection methods.
Types of Messages We Send
We send only service/transactional messages related to your photography booking. These include booking confirmations, payment reminders and session details. We send final gallery delivery notifications with your private photo link. We may send rescheduling updates or weather-related information if needed. No promotional offers, newsletters, discounts or marketing messages are sent. Every message clearly identifies Langkawi Photographer as the sender. All SMS and emails contain our official business name and contact number. Transactional messages are exempt from DND (Do Not Disturb) restrictions in India.
Unsubscribe & Opt-Out Process
Every SMS and email we send includes a clear “STOP” or “UNSUBSCRIBE” option. Replying “STOP” or clicking the link immediately ends all future communication. You can also reply “UNSUBSCRIBE” to any message to opt out instantly. All opt-out requests are processed within 48 hours as per Indian regulations. Once unsubscribed your number/email is added to our permanent suppression list. We never re-contact anyone who has opted out under any circumstances. You may also directly message us to request removal from communication. We maintain records of all unsubscribe requests for compliance purposes.
Our Commitment to Anti-Spam Compliance
We fully comply with TRAI’s TCCCPR 2018 and IT Act 2000 provisions on unsolicited messages. We never use misleading headers, sender IDs or subject lines in any communication. All messages are sent only from registered headers/sender IDs approved by TRAI. We do not engage in email harvesting, dictionary attacks or automated spamming. We regularly audit our communication practices to ensure 100% compliance. Promotional messages are never sent without prior explicit consent (never done). Any spam complaint is investigated immediately and corrective action is taken. We maintain transparency and trust in every client interaction we have.
Reporting Spam or Concerns
If you receive any message you believe is unwanted, please forward it to us. Send the full message (with headers in case of email) to our official email. You can also report directly via WhatsApp or phone with message details. We investigate every complaint within 72 hours and take immediate action. If the message was sent in error we sincerely apologize and rectify it. Serious or repeated issues are escalated to senior team members instantly. You may also report to TRAI DND portal if you wish to file an official complaint. We value your feedback and use it to maintain the highest communication standards.
